What is Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty?

The non-surgical rhinoplasty, sometimes known as a non-surgical nose job or ‘fifteen minute nose job’, is a treatment that involves only dermal filler injections to help reshape the nose. It is a revolutionary, specialist dermal filler procedure available at Envie Aesthetics, Huddersfield. By using dermal filler to shape and sculpt the nose, I can help to create a more pleasing and symmetrical appearance.

As the nose is in the very centre of the face, asymmetries can appear more pronounced on and around the nose, and can cause significant insecurity. While in the past, surgical rhinoplasty was seen as the only option for many patients, the developments in non-surgical aesthetics in recent years now mean that we can help to correct a number of issues that can cause insecurity about your appearance, without the need for surgical intervention. This is a treatment that is changing the lives of my clients throughout the West Yorkshire, Leeds & Manchester areas.

As one of the specialist dermal filler procedures I offer at Envie Aesthetics, I use high quality and market leading fillers to ensure we can get safe, accurate and beautiful results for all of our clients. The most popular and safest form of dermal fillers, and the type we use at Envie Aesthetics, are hyaluronic acid based. A naturally occurring substance in the body, hyaluronic acid can attract and hold up to 1000 times its own weight in water, making it a safe and natural form of filler. It is perfect for creating beautiful and natural-looking results for our non-surgical rhinoplasty patients as it is subtle, precise, easily mouldable and biodegradable. A natural enzyme called hyaluronidase exists in the body which breaks down hyaluronic acid, causing the filler to biodegrade over time. However this makes the treatment much safer as the body reacts in a natural way to the filler, so there is a lower chance of a poor or allergic reaction, making hyaluronic filler the safest filler material available.

I am proud to be able to offer the non-surgical nose job at Envie Aesthetics. Non-surgical rhinoplasty treatments work by using a tiny needle to inject small amount of hyaluronic filler very precisely into the nose. Using my in-depth knowledge of facial anatomy, allows me to tailor your procedure to you specifically. By injecting and then massaging and sculpting the filler, I can direct the filler to very precise areas of the nose, to create a smoother, more symmetrical appearance.

What Can It Treat?

​

Having a nose that appears asymmetrical, or that you feel doesn’t suit your face shape or structure can make you feel less confident in your appearance, which can affect many different areas of your life. The non-surgical rhinoplasty at Envie Aesthetics is tailored to each and every one of our clients, meaning that we can treat a wide variety of conditions.

 

These include:

• A slightly crooked or bent nose.

• A small nose that needs building up.

• Hook-shaped noses that require straightening.

• A mild to moderate bump on the bridge of the nose, or a depression just above the nose bridge.

• A mild to moderate drooping of the nasal tip.

• Refining the shape of the nose after a surgical rhinoplasty treatment.

• Noses that require more height, definition and a more pronounced nasal tip.

Clients with larger noses are hesitant to try a non-surgical nose job as they think it will make their nose look bigger. However, by precisely placing and directing the filler, I can actually reduce the appearance of the nose, by using the filler to create a more precise shape, giving the illusion of a much smaller nose.

Our Process

At Envie Aesthetics, we are dedicated to ensuring the comfort and safety of all of our patients, and so precede every treatment we carry out with a full, in-depth consultation. During your consultation, we will take time to get to know you, and understand exactly what it is you want to see from your procedure with us.

These kinds of treatments are as much an art as they are a science, something that I am experienced in, and incredibly passionate about. Each non-surgical rhinoplasty is different, and varies depending on each individual’s concerns, as well as their natural face shape. The consultation process gives me the opportunity to fully understand how to treat you to give you the best results possible, and make sure you get the perfect nose for you.

 

On the day of your treatment, you will be welcomed into the clinic. You can opt for a local anaesthetic cream, which I will apply to the area. I will then inject the filler into specific areas on the nose, depending on your personal concerns. Usually, around 1ml of filler is used for a non-surgical rhinoplasty treatment. All of the dermal filler types we stock contain a local anaesthetic to improve your comfort during treatment. During the injection process, you may experience slight discomfort while the filler is injected, though this is generally not too uncomfortable for the majority of our clients.

After treatment, results will be visible instantly. You should avoid touching the area for around 24 hours to give the filler time to settle, and avoid putting pressure on the area for around a week, as the filler is still malleable. If possible, you should avoid wearing glasses or sunglasses for extended periods of time, as this can also affect the shape of the filler. You may experience a little redness, swelling or bruising after treatment, but this is not usually particularly painful or noticable, and generally fades after two to three days. The effects of non-surgical rhinoplasty generally lasts from between six and eighteen months, but can last up to two years. This depends on how much the area is moved and the type and volume of filler used, but is also impacted by the natural levels of hyaluronidase - the enzyme that breaks down hyaluronic acid - in the body.

Rhinoplasty is one of the most popular cosmetic procedures available, but many patients are put off by the potential complications and the risk of not getting the results they want. The non-surgical nose job is a safe, non-invasive alternative to traditional surgical rhinoplasty, which only uses dermal filler to reshape the nose, without having to undergo general anaesthetic and a permanent, invasive, surgical procedure with significant downtime. The non-surgical nose-job is also significantly more affordable than traditional surgical rhinoplasty. We also have clients that come to us after undergoing surgical rhinoplasty and not getting the results they wanted.

The non-surgical nose job is an excellent, affordable option for people who want to change the shape of their noses but do not want to undergo surgery. The results of the treatment are instant and there is no downtime, general anaesthetic or prolonged healing period required. It is also not permanent, and is flexible and malleable, making it easier to adapt with you as you age and get the results you need.
