What are the side effects of dermal filler? The side effects of dermal fillers include swelling, bleeding, bruising, redness and risk of infection. More rare side effects will be discussed in consultation.
-
Is having dermal filler painful?I use a numbing cream which is applied to the area - all the fillers I use also contain local anaesthetic to reduce pain. Clients may feel mild to moderate pain. Some of my treatments include the use of a Cannula, therefore cream is not required.

What will happen on the day of my appointment? Most people attend for same day consultation and treatment. You will be asked to fill out a medical consent form. During consultation you will discuss your requirements and options with me. During this time I can offer bespoke advice and advise which treatment would suit your individual needs. i will then apply a topical numbing agent to the area and discuss side effects and risks. You will always have an opportunity to ask any questions you may wish. Once the treatment is completed and you are happy with the results, I will provide you with aftercare advice which will also be forwarded via email.
